Can you suggest a strategy to learn fast / complex solos or songs?

Hi to all,

I have had always the question:

Is there a strategy or a method to learn complex solos or songs?

For example learn and be able to play a Yngwie Malsteen song.

Or I want to prepare a couple of songs for a prsentation in a one or two months.

Learning full songs or solos though Back Chaining

Does anyone use this technique when learning full songs? I’ve found it very helpful for getting full songs up to a solid performance level. If you have issues towards the middle or end of a tune or solo, I’d recommend trying it.
