Looking for hand sync help

Recording yourself and listening back critically is really good for this, particularly with headphones if possible. Sometimes hearing the room, will mask certain things and give the illusion you sound much better than you really do. It doesn’t get much more honest than bone dry, direct guitar to hear inconsistencies in your playing.

I hadn’t seen @Tom_Gilroy 's presentation on grip, but although awkward at first it feels better already - I was instructed to use pinched grip, my first and primary teacher had a degree in classical performance so we adopted that pinch grip, thumb behind the middle finger, thumb not over the fretboard.

I think that grip was the source of a lot of my fatigue in the left hand, even playing inefficient fingerings is much better with this grip.
