Hey, I also studied Guitar Craft until Level 1. Even though he talked about just using the arm to ‘choose’ the string and the picking motion should only be from the wrist, I found this impossible (ended up also giving it up) and I really don’t think that’s the way he does it. There has to be some forearm motion (besides the ‘choosing’ the string thing). I was very disappointed when I got home. After years yearning to be near him and have him teach me his picking method…I just ended up in the same alleys and dead ends as before… ;-(
