I’m now into the third decade of my guitar journey. FML!
I sure hope all the young people around here appreciate all the time they don’t have to be wasting figuring this stuff out for themselves (incorrectly). It’s a good think I have such a good sense of humor and “glass is half full” view of life

Next week is kind of a mess for me, I’m afraid - we’re off to Puerto Rico for the first half and then I have a few conflicts to juggle the rest (plus, a ~6mo old daughter now, eek!), but I might be able ot do something the week after?
@joebegly - I just keep reminding myself that had I just immediately been able to play as fast as I can now, I would have grown to have a very different “voice” as a musician… and regardless of whether or not I was actually optimized as a player I had an awesome time, had some really cool experiences, met some great people, and don’t regret any of it. \m/
