What's your favorite current film score, and your all time favorite?

Most of the named above are my favorites. Specially John Williams, Journey to the Island. A little bit sentimental from me :joy:

But Monsters Inc is good. And Iā€™ve always liked Ren & Stimpy and Hey Arnoldā€™s themes, although theyā€™re not movies.

Christiaan Van Hemert mentioned The Firm during one of his live streams. This was one I didnā€™t know Dave Grusin did, so I rewatched it, I hadnā€™t seen it in a very long time. But to my surprise it had some amazing compositions. I enjoyed this one, and it really goes to show just how much a great musical composition can turn a good movie into a great movie.

So I kind of just found out about this synthesizer, but it seems to me that it kind of has this holy grail status. Then I saw Look Mum No Computer had a video on it a few years back. He says something in his currency like if you have 18,000 you can own one. So I check on Reverb, said 45,000. LOL

Donā€™t worry Behringer is working on a clone, hahaha.

It really is the best most lush and expressive poly synth ever made. The fact that it came out in the late 70s is insane how ahead of its time it is Yamaha pulled no punches.
Even simple parts just sound unreal on it.

Theres also this as far as modern recreations go.

The ASM Hydrasynth Deluxe gets in the ballpark. Iā€™m very pleased with mine.

The new UDO Super Gemini looks very CS80 esque in terms of features.
