I am a man driven by an insatiable Will: always striving, always dissatisfied, always seeking mastery.
I suffer because I want more from myself and from life than life readily gives me. I keep practicing the wrong movements, hoping that repetition will somehow turn them into mastery, only to discover that repetition can also deepen my mistakes.
Yet I refuse to surrender. Music gives me brief moments in which the Will becomes silent, and I am simply present.
I cannot control everything that happens to me, but I can choose what I struggle for.
