I started working on trying to adopt Andy Wood’s 902/reverse dart thrower picking this week after messing with crosspicking in a less structured way a few months back for a week or two and getting inconsistent results.
I wanted to post this here to get an initial critique, it feels pretty good when I can get into the groove of it, thinking of the dart motions helps. When I’m consciously making the motion in thinking of more of a wrist jerk upward against gravity and letting my wrist drop down and back with gravity on downstrokes, not sure if there’s a better way to try and get to that relaxed feel.
