Quite a late follow up from me but here goes- It seems when you played the Sold my Soul lick, you did not use much wrist movement? I see some nice forearm rotation but not much in the way of the wrist itself. Can you clarify what muscles were activating most in this lick?
And on that note, do you find you are using more elbow with a locked wrist and fingers these days when you alternate pick pentatonic runs?
