Antonio Trapani - electric fusion fingerstyle

I found this player - he’s obviously well versed in a variety of jazz/fusion-y style of lead playing. There are a number of Mahavishnu Orchestra tunes he covers on his channel.

He plays without a pick which is interesting, however I’m also impressed with his fingering - it looks rather efficient - his hand does not often need to change it’s approach angle…not as often as I do anyway.

Posting for those interested in something less common and someone not well known.

His Hand also looks different than the way classical guitarist hold their right hand. It’s cool I wonder how he does it. I can move my fingers that fast but when I add the strings I lose a lot of the efficiency

Thats quite something, thanks for sharing.

I think what he’s doing is the brent mason thing, using a three plucking fingers on a sting, it’s a pattern like index, ring, middle then thumb ( pick in BM’s case ), but not sure about the order.

If somebody can decode that it would something!
