I should probably start this off by asking what kind of pickslanter is Ritchie Blackmore?
For some reason seventies cam guys really liked to zoom on the bassist or drummer during guitar solos.
This is the only decent vid I could find with the arpeggios.
The solo from about 4:30 - 6:40 is interspersed with some magnet style camera angles.
Blackmore often is credited for being an early sweeper for arpeggio licks like the ones in “Child of Time”, “Kill the King”, and “Burn” but I’ve seen lessons where people claim they are alternate picked, akin to a crosspicked style.
How are these actually played?
