Attaching a phone to a sheet music stand?

I have noticed that there are cell phone holders that attach to a photographic tripod, and clamps that let one attach a tripod’s screw to a pipe (like a sheet-music stand), so it seems that this might be a pretty good way to position one’s phone. Has anybody tried this?

The following items would be under $25,

It’s clearly not as good as a magnet, but it is likely better than nothing. Thoughts?

it would be good combined with some sort of bendable gooseneck type arm

I use IK Multimedia’s phone mic stand mount to receive text requests at my solo shows. It’d work mounted on the tube of your music stand, but that particular one doesn’t articulate 360 degrees so it might be a little finicky the first time you set it up.
