What do you think of the lick at 5:36 on You Upset Me Baby - Bonamassa at Rockpalst?
What type of techinque is he using?

It looks like only the first one or two notes is picked and then the rest of the run is legato.
Yea, he tries to pick the first three notes, but only does the first two, then he uses hammer-ons from nowhere. If you look at his hand at the end of the lick, he uses his palm to mute the strings from ringing.
And it’s true, it does look easy, but having the amp turned up to 11 and playing an expensive guitar certainly helps
