I am so thankful that Troy and his team have devoted so much time and effort to solving the mystery of picking mechanics. I too was a child of the 80’s and Troy is right. The instruction available in that time period pales in comparison to what we have today.

I will be posting something on the playing technique forum I think that Troy may be interested in. It should be there by the time you read this. It is a slightly different approach to EJ’s pentatonic sixes sequences using directional picking. I would very much like to know what you think about this method.
