Is there a way to add an .mp4 file to a forum post? I tried dragging and dropping, but the site threw an error saying only some image file formats are supported. I just want to add 5 seconds of audio to illustrate a point. Without it, it feels a little like dancing to architecture.
Best way is to just upload it to YouTube and set the visibility to “Unlisted”, then paste the link directly in a forum post (with an empty line right before and after it).
Plus, that’ll help keep Troy’s forum server from bloating

And sorry, I see you said “audio” file, but you mentioned mp4 which is what made me think of YouTube as the way to go. Maybe try SoundCloud for the audio files? Though I’m pretty sure I’ve seen posts where people embed mp3 files directly in posts. Still, same thing about saving Troy’s server space and using a free place like SoundCloud
