Cannot get down DSX at all!

Hey y’all. I’ve been a fan of cracking the code for years, and can successfully do USX + Econ in the Johnson style relatively well. But for some reason, I absolutely cannot get down DSX, even though I think I understand the concept well. Here is me doing ascending sixes with USX

Then here is me totally failing to do ascending sixes with DSX. It might not look that bad, but from my perspective my hand feels totally stuck and jumpy and can barely work at all.

You seem to kind of lose your tremolo form the moment you start playing the sixes. Do you see that?

Also, I would turn off the metronome – you’re in the *learning the motion-stage. Having to find the right motion and trying to sync to the metronome at the same time is too much for anyone’s brain to handle.

Looks like you’re starting each string change on a downstroke? Hard to tell for sure buy if so, that explains why
