Chris is a student of the saxophonist George Garzone who is known for the ‘triadic chromatic’ approach which involves playing various inversions of basic triads with chromatic notes in between. Chris has developed the approach for guitar in a totally fluid and seamless manner. Admittedly its pretty far out there musically but I thought it might be of interest to some fellow guitar nerds.
