Continued String Change Issue

I have a continued issue when it comes to changing strings. I’ll start out ok, but after a while, maybe due to fatigue or something, I will encounter an issue where I won’t be able to change strings without hitting adjacent ones. I use dwps and forearm rotation. What it feels like is my wrist is rolling between two strings sometimes or lifting straight up or moving straight down horizontally to the strings on the string change instead of escaping and then moving. I’m not sure why I can’t get this working right because I feel like the motion on one string works pretty well and I can see the pick escaping. This problem is even worse on pentatonic stuff and generally just moving back and forth between two strings repeating a pattern. I will try to post a clip here later if I can or maybe tomorrow.

I think it is probably fatigue. After a while I can barely play anything. My wrist and forearm tighten up pretty much immediately and the pick sort of slips from once side of the string to the other. Can’t even play one note at half speed very long once this sets in. This is probably a sign I am overdoing it.
