I just came across this guitar world article with some interesting stats on increased guitar
Big numbers being 7% of Americans between 13-64 started playing guitar between 2019 and 2021. 77% of those are between 13-34 - so that’s 12.32 million relatively young new guitarists. On average they expect to spend around 4 hours a week on guitar.
With increased leisure time from remote working policies I’d expect interest in hobbies you can do from a home office to remain elevated.
Fender is already working on capitalizing on that, seems like it could be a boon to any guitar instructors and performers that chase it on social media and elsewhere.
