Dart thrower metal /hard-rock players example?

Hi, I’m (re)watching the pickslanting primer during the hollidays and I realized that the only exemples of « Dart thrower » players are (awsome) acoustic guitar players. Can you help me to find examples of metal/hard rock « Dart thrower » guitar players ? I’ m a « dart thrower » player myself and I try to decide if that motion is efficient for the music that I play (trash metal / Hard rock 80’s) or if I need to work on another right hand motion more suitable. Thanks for your help!

Why do you care what your underlying technique is? Many will argue, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”

Of course but I wouldn’t mind some examples just to check if metal players that are Dart throwers use the same motion for rythm or if they switch to another motion (especialy for fast dowstroke / gallop rythm parts).

John Taylor is a dart thrower player, check out the new Obsidian Seminar:
