I’m a USX picker. I’m working on the furious descending run in Curse of Castle Dragon. It’s a 3nps lick that calls for TWPS or the “pull-off the last note” strategy. The latter does not have that aggressive alternate picked sound so I’m trying the TWPS route.
I notice that I can kind of brute force my way through the picking at tempo which results in what I would call swiping on the INSIDE changes. Starting on a downstroke that is. Is this something that’s been observed or is this just slop that needs cleaning up?
