Difference between 3NPS ascending and descending runs

I noticed that motion too. I think in this case I’m mainly doing it this big since I’m thinking in a 6 note chunk and accent the first note. When you look at the 3nps descending run it is still kinda there but way more subtle.
I’ll try to get this little motion in my ascending run as well to get it smoother easier feeling.

I think your exercise of recording videos like you’re doing and self reflecting will help internalize all that.

I hope so I always thought I knew what kind of picking I was using but filming for this thread and the help from everyone here changed my mind and already helped a ton to identify my problems.
