A great guitarist (at 200bpm) can do 13.3 sixteenth notes per second, or a note every 75ms. Some drummers can do a note per 50ms, but each hand does a note per 100ms.
Some guitarists can do about as well… but most likely not for a whole minute. The effort John Taylor has to put into doing something similar for ten seconds with one arm is quite incredible.

There’s a whole special technique behind super fast drumming. It involves careful ‘bouncing’ of the drumstick.
