Duke Nukem Cover

Felt inspired to do some video game covers this afternoon and always enjoyed the Duke Nukem theme.

So I learned the basic rhythm parts and knocked out an arrangement where I harmonize some of the lines and adjust some of the composition. Then got a GP file that had drums and pulled the midi into EZ drummer to swap in sample, and then laid a shreddy version of the lead over it with a solo.

That’s one hell of an afternoon, wish I was that quick. I’d need an afternoon just to think about getting started

Really nice job there. I’m on a mobile, I get the feeling your guitar has more strings :slightly_smiling_face:

I’d love to see you take on a doom riff. Those old games do so much with midi! I guess it was the 90s. I remeber back then I had an AWE32 with ram slots and you could change the sample library. It sounded sick for the time. Mechwarrior had angreat sound track as well.

If you ever do doom riff I’d love to collab on a few bars. Cheers.

Doom would be a cool one to cover, I’ll think about it in the near future!
