So I haven’t done too many YouTube lessons yet, but it’s something I want to put out more of over time. So recently came up with this fun economy picking lick that’s heavily inspired by Frank Gambale, and I thought I could turn it into a lick lesson.
I’m not 100% sure on the format here… I’m not sure if talking so much and going through in such detail is necessary. Maybe it would be better in a shorter format since people who would be playing a lick like this wouldn’t need too much spoon-feeding?
Or do you think it’s good to have the detailed breakdown just for extra accesibility? Maybe some licks are more dependent on details than others and having it as a part of the format is just good general practice?
I’m open to any feedback on this type of video so that I can improve, and of course, I hope you like the lick! It’s pretty fun and feels pretty good for the right hand since it sticks wth strict economy picking all the way through.
