Elbow motion test

hi.
i was thinking about something.
at the moment, and for most of my life, i’ve been (what appears to be) ELBOW
tremolo. and for no surprise, my best motion test was rdt and elbow. BUT, in the elbow
motion test, the thumb is pointing to the ceiling and it’s right above the pinky.
and i noticed when i play a tremolo, it’s more diagonal, where (if you’re right handed)
the thumb is more to the left and the pinky to the right, creating a sort-of 45 degrees between
the table and the pinky-thumb line. when i did the motion test like that, if felt even better, and
that it activates different forearm muscles
just wanted to know your opinion on the topic
