I’ve long wondered what technique Greg Lake used on tunes like From the Beginning and Karn Evil 9. Here’s a new (to me) vid from 1970 of Take a Pebble in which he uses a flatpick 1NPS for one of the licks near the end of his acoustic solo (at about 6:00). (If you’re an ELP fan the whole vid is good/funny).
