Finding a good (online) guitar teacher?

Hey everyone

I want to find a good guitar teacher that can guide me towards my overall goals on guitar. However, I don’t have any luck in my physical environment (Denmark), and it would be super cool to have someone proficient in CTC principles as well. So I figured maybe online-platform is the answer (skype, zoom, whatever).

My level would probably be considered intermediate. I used to play mostly acoustic fingerstyle guitar, but switched to mostly electric guitar in the past couple years
Genres: mostly rock, prog rock, metal, and similar.

Do you guys know of someone? Idk if self-promotion is allowed here, but I don’t mind if you have a site/info to point me towards.

All the best,
Thomas

Why not use Tom Gilroy here he is a teacher and does zoom calls

Hi @Turasaz.

I always recommend that anybody who is interested in taking lessons with me should try Masters In Mechanics subscription and the Technique Critique platform first.

I don’t want to turn anybody away, but a month of MIM is less expensive than a lesson with me, and you get access to the full CTC library and the TC platform, which has worked for a lot of people.

If you have worked through the CTC material and tried the TC platform and you’re still interested in online lessons with me, then I’d be happy to schedule a time with you.

You can read some testimonials on my teaching in the thread below:

Sacra Victoria.

One of the best female shredders out there. Great price too. She is awesome.

Angel Vivaldi does lessons, and I can’t recommend him enough. And he’s familiar with the principles, at least when I’ve brought them up in lessons.
