A friend of a friend asked me to lay down a solo on this Castlevania Bloody Tears cover they’ve been working on
I’m the section at 38 seconds in, their guitarist is the second solo.

Hey thanks! Mine was worked out and I’ll post a tab of it soon. I only had a couple days notice to write it, so I would have possibly taken some different directions with it if I had more time. However, it looks like I’ll probably be working on some more of these, so I expect I’ll have more time to really work out the flow in the next one!
Writing this one did pretty much involve finding the key, running a bunch of takes until I landed on some lines that fit and then practicing it. Sometimes when I write I’ll be sitting down with the chord progression and work out something more tied to the harmony, but I didn’t have the time to experiment with that approach.
