Four Horsemen - Am I picking this run right?

Hi All,

For the life of me I just cant get this run down. I’m new to the forum (and TG) and just learning that we don’t just alternate pick everything (something I was told long ago) However for this run I think Alt might be the way to go? Is there a better way? I can play it to a metronome to a max of 160, but when I try the backing track, even slowed down, it all falls apart.

Heres what I’m doing (note this is the part of the overdub I choose to play)

I would use 6 notes per string here.
12, 14, 17 frets on 5th sting
12, 14, 17 frets on 4th sting
12, 14, 16 frets on 3rd string
12, 15, 17 frets on second string
then 12, 15 frets on 1st string (tremolo)
