Fret hand vs Pick hand warmup

Hello Everyone,

Have y’all noticed a difference in the time it takes to warm up the fret hand vs the pick hand? More specifically, my pick hand is at its peak at the beginning of my playing (I prefer really fast thrash rhythms with heavy galloping and reverse galloping triplets) and gets significantly less accurate and/or slower the longer I play during a practice session. My fret hand is completely the opposite whereas it gets more accurate and faster the longer I play in a practice session. Thanks in advance!!

One day I had tendinitis in my left hand and even though it healed, ever since I warm up almost every time. I do the first exercise in this video. As a bonus, if you play it fast enough, it doubles as a cross-picking warmup.

Hello @Lukhas,

I warmup both hands individually and then together; just that my picking hand is at its peak right when I start to practice, whereas my fret hand gets better with both speed and accuracy the longer I practice during a session. I’m not sure if it’s because of different tendons and muscles used.
