Gary Moore Still Got the Blues fast pentatonic lick

Hi, I’m learning to play the Still Got the Blues (album version) end solo, and there is this blazing fast pentatonic lick I could use some help with. Here’s the part I’m talking about:

Youtube: Still Got the Blues fast lick (4:21)

Tab with the fast part highlighted:

I believe it sounds like he picks every note

It doesn’t fall into the typical 2 note per string/downslant pentatonic picking pattern

Any advice on how to pick this?

Thanks!!

This is how the pros do it:

You can decide whether to alternate or sweep the picked notes. I do it with sweeping because it’s easier for me.

Greg Howe! Wow have not heard that name in a long long time. Thanks for this!

Listening again I definitely hear the pull off on the B string (13p10), and while the audio isn’t as clear on the 10-13 it would make sense that it would be a hammer on :+1:

This should be easier to pick! Will give a try! Thank you!!
