Hey All,
I’m a hobbyist guitarer from rural Illinois. I’ve been playing off and on for ~10 years, have never been in a band, and I have somehow fetishized learning licks, songs, melodies, etc. that are just out of my capability. Maybe I just like having something of my very own to steive for. I have a full time job, a wife and an 11 month old daughter so all of my practicing is done in 30-60 minute spurts. Pick slanting has opened up a new can of worms for me to say the least. I’m glad to see that this community exists and that everyone seems so nice. Fave guitarists are currently Pettruci, Buckethead, Thordendal, and Laiho. Cheers and I look forward to participating!!!
