My name is Alejandro and I’m a lifelong heavy metal, speed metal, everything-metal lover.
For as long as I can remember every time I heard an awesome solo, with flawless techique, speed, etc, I’ve experienced a thrill, an electricity that at some point made me want to be able to be the one generating it, and so that made me start playing guitar.
If I had to name a single inspiration it would have to be Paul Gilbert.
I’ve been dreaming of being able to play tunes like Scarified, Technical Difficulties, and stuff like that for years. And while I’ve been slowly (veeery slowly) getting better in terms of technique, it feels like I’ll never get to that place; that is if I keep the current approach.
I’m hoping this whole Cracking The Code revolution will help me change the approach to technique and help me get to play some of the tunes and soles I love.
