Hello from Australia

Hi there everyone. I’m from the UK but in Adelaide, SA now. It’s good to be on this forum and see it becoming more popular.

I’ve been playing about 20 years but my picking technique has always been uncomfortable & inconsistent and I’ve been trying to fix it for most of this time. I found CTC around 1-2 years ago and I’d still say I have struggled with every aspect.
Coming from somewhat of a radial deviation style without any pickslant, it has been a big adjustment to introduce forearm rotation and completely reorient my arm, wrist and such. Usually I’d practice for hours to find something comfortable and then not be able to replicate the feeling the next day. Frustrating.

Still, in the last few weeks I think I have finally made some progress now & am excited about improving. I’m certainly very grateful for Troy’s work.

Cheers.

Welcome @euclydian

Are there many people is South Australia? I’m trying to never see people again. And have acreage full of Dingos and such. :joy:

There’s not many people, you could isolate yourself here if you wanted. Dingo ownership is illegal in SA but who is going to stop you…

Hahaha, you know, I’ve actually heard a lot of stuff is illegal there. I might want to stay in the United States. I’m in a national forest now. That will do I guess.
