Hello everyone. I’m Tommy from RI. Been playing for about 20 years (though, I’m quite sure I don’t sound it). Came up as a classical player, but have always wanted to be able to play other styles beyond classical. Honestly, though, I have never been very good at learning any of them, and it’s mostly been the picking that tripped me up (so I pretty much lived a lie the past 20 years and pretended I only cared about practicing classical - which is funny because I was never very good at that either HA!).
Slowly starting to pick it up now, though. Pun fully intended.
Anyhow, good to be here. I’m off to find that other RI person!
