Due to picking issues I’m not really sure where I am in my playing.
I started when I was 17, I stopped for probably 20 years.
I’m an 80’s metal fan, George Lynch in piticular.
I’m excited and eager to give my alternate picking a kick in the ass!
I’ve been taking lessons for about a year now.
I’ve spent probably more time on technique than I should. Should probably learn more songs.
I’ve watched many CTC videos on pick slant, escape technique ect.
I should be more of an intermediate player, but I don’t feel right about that because of my picking issues.
I’d also like to learn to be better at sweep picking. To play arpeggios better.
I want to be a better player overall.
