My name is Ellan. I’ve been playing guitar for about 20 years, jazz and later flamenco.
I’ve never felt comfortable with a pick (used to compare it to making love with protection haha) and so I transitioned to playing exclusively fingerstyle (flamenco style).
But I always felt I’d love to be able to play well with a pick, especially speed wise, and so I was very excited to find someone tackling the issue so extensively when I saw Troy on youtube!
I’m most attracted to Di Meola/Mclaughlin style… Hopefully can learn and improve with the insight of the great work you guys are doing here!
