I been playing around with this particular fragment of the guitar solo played by Samy Elbanna but wasn’t able to speed it up because of the mixed string changes and insanely fast string skipping (I’m a DSX Elbow player)
These are all 16th notes at 176bpm
How would you approach this?
I rearranged the fingering to this. It is for me much easier to play.

Yet I think it’s still kinda unachivable with my elbow picking motion. There´s plenty of upward string changes and some ascending economy like parts that are not compatible with UWPS.
+ for hybrid picking. Personally I’d most likely play it somewhat like that which has more picking but is still DSX compliant:
