Because we’re all OCD anal retentive weirdos on this site about guitar technique we care about shit like swiping versus being able to actually cleanly skip over strings when going full blast on the fretboard.
But no one actually cares other than us as long as the sound of swiping is hidden underneath gain/distorion/good hand muting techniques. No one fucking CARES but us.
I’m strongly considering saying fuck it and swiping the SHIT outta EVERYTHING unapologetically underneath just a mountain of distortion.
