Hey, I’d like to learn to play Snow by Red Hot Chilli Peppers, but I have no idea which motion should I try to learn. I found a forum post from 2019 mentioning crosspicking and I have no idea what it is—it seems to be some kind of a double escape motion? I’ve watched the DBX motion videos and I’m thinking of giving DBX a try.
For some context, I’ve been tackling picking technique on and off for some time and I think I managed to learn some kind of wrist USX motion and play it with changing strings in moderate speeds. I’ve also managed to do the wrist DSX and the elbow DSX motions on one string, in moderate to pretty high speeds.
