Ideal pick for flatwounds?

Obviously flatwound strings are going to be naturally more slippery than roundwounds, but I’m wondering if anyone has experience using different picks with flats and what works best for you.

I have a set of flats on my Epiphone Dot. I use a bluechip TD 35 that I like and I’ve been messing around with a Dunlop Gator 1.14mm, but that one seems really slippery on the strings, even if it stays in my hand ok.

Any other thoughts or experience with flats folks around here have?

Are you looking for more slip or less? When I think of picks that “bite” that I have around, I’d have to say Fender’s plain celluloid and Dunlop Tortext Sharp, whatever size their black ones are (I feel like it’s a combo of the tip design and the more square edge bevel). More slip? I’d say Dunlop Ultex.
