I’ve been looking for my purple Flying V for an hour and I can’t find it… this made me really annoyed that I didn’t put an Apple AirTag inside it. I should do this with all of my guitars, now that I think about it. (Update: It was in its case, but I will still put AirTags inside my guitars.)

I wonder how much noise they may add, if any at all, I suspect where you put them will matter.
If it’s merely for personal organization rather than theft recovery, sticking it to the back of the headstock is probably a good choice.
Also, the newest generation of Android tracking tags is starting to roll out, supported by Google’s expanded Find My Device network. Some vendors shipping or expecting to ship devices soon are Chipolo, Pebblebee, and Motorola.
