Implementing the motions

hello everyone

I have started the pickslanting primer recently and in theory i understand the motions and terminology

But i am not able to adhere or execute the motions and actually implement them like the reverse dart, dsx usx, etc

Im practicing at least 1 hour or even more every day.

Does achieving the motions take a-lot of time or is it something i cant do.

I agree that im a slow learner and might have some preconceived psychological blocks but, do you guys have any advice on how can i know if what im doing is correct without constantly asking for feedback etc.

What are your tap test speeds? This will determine motion/escape

Best path through material is: Perform tap tests; Note your tap speeds, fastest tap should be primary motion; Bring same motion from your fastest tapping to guitar as single string tremolo; Practice chunking-can you play the correct number of notes with motion?-see 65 note challenge in Synchronicity seminar; Practice hand sync on a single string-see rudiment clips in Synchronicity and find one you can fret quickly to work on for hand sync; then hand sync across multiple strings.

Yes maybe im taking in soo much at a faster rate, ill try to learn in this sequence and see if that can help. Thanks

I tried the tap test on the first day i signed up and if i remember correctly i got around 260bpm on most of them but the knocking the desk like with elbow i got low results around 210-220

Ok, time for the motion tutorials in primer to review setup for motions. I would pick your fastest/easiest motion use details of tutorial to take taps to tremolo on guitar. Then you are off to Synchronicity for chunking
