This is a followup to my previous post at String Resistance Slows Pick/Inability to Secure Pick
Basically, I’ve improved in my ability to speed up when tremolo picking however I’m unable most of the time to secure the pick from moving away from my grip. It isn’t so much rotation as the pick gets pushed out till I end up with the very end of it in my fingers. I’ve had occasions where this didn’t happen and I’m trying to figure what I did differently in those cases that allowed my to keep a steady grip. Comparing my pick attack from a previous critique where I had a solid grip https://youtube.com/shorts/BbOU4gk2DHQ
I posted with a newer one https://youtube.com/shorts/CGwtoNRfpps where I can’t keep it in place.
I did switch to a 3-finger approach because that allows me to use “high-mouse/dart throwing” movement more readily but I have the same issue with 3 or 2 finger pick holding regardless.
