There are sections within discussing 208 bpm as a target, and while it’s aimed at piano players, I’m finding some of the sections to be gems with regard to approaches to speed development.

It strikes me that “pier notes” re-chunk the passages in a way that might help aspiring shredders build on their repertoire with increased flexibility and clarity. Look forward to hearing other’s thoughts. Peace out, Daniel
