Jazz/experimental thumb picker

I have been playing for thirty years. The last ten have been full time. I play jazz and experimental music. I have been self taught most this time; however, often get lessons with professional musicians when they are not touring. The last year during Covid times has been amazing. I have learned a lot.

I have been watching the videos and intend to continue.

I play with a Chris Broderick pick clip I mangle around a Blue Chip LG 100 Jazz pick. After watching the pick videos it has me thinking of sound. I love the blue chip picks tone and durability. I am always on the lookout for something better though. Maybe a smaller thickness BC? I wish it did not chirp at all.

I use a floppier pick for playing with folk people from time to time. It strums better.

I like the jazz styled pointy tipped picks. I may need to use the traditional pick shape more often though just on principal.

Anyhow, hello! Iā€™m glad to be here. : )
