Joe stump book error?

I’m working through the Joe Stump
Sweep picking and arpeggio book
And I really love it so far.

Problem is on page 10.
The way it is written cant be right in my mind.

In the first measure its fine until you hit the g#dim7

It calls for a pull off where it would have to be a hammer then goes on to direct me to sweep two notes on a single string.

Anyone here know what it should actually be?

I can always just play it as written in the measure under the problem measure. Its just gonna eat at me though.

I have that book too!

I play the G# on the high E string 4th fret so you still have two notes on the top string and one on the B string.
