Hi all. Just a guitarist from the Dominican Republic here. I’m a melodic/power metal fan and apart from the amazing Michael Angelo Batio, I love things from
Syu(Galneryus) and Michael Romeo (Symphony X) though my greatest source of inspiration has been Timo Tolkki (Older Stratovarius material) due to his music composition abilities. I am selftaught and also play the keyboard/synth. I am also a fan of BC Rich guitars.
I actually started following Cracking the Code a couple of years ago and even preordered some stuff but while waiting for things to be ready, I turned my attention to other things. Decided to check out the page yesterday and was surprised with all the content. Turns out part of the stuff I’d bought years ago would become the pickslanting primer. Gonna be working on that now.
Just want to say thanks to Troy Grady and the team that make this site possible. This is some groundbreaking stuff and one can only imagine all the hardwork that is/was put into this.
