I’ve recorded all instruments on this cover. Also, this was my first attempt re-amping my DI signal through my pedalboard. There’s a lot of room for improvement, although I’m happy with the outcome and plan to continue experimenting.
It was really interesting to realize how a nuanced and expressive piece of music can feel way more demanding than technically-demanding licks. However, Satch’s case is special because he is unfairly good at both styles of playing.
