Just wondering if anyone else purchased all or any of Marty’s new Truefire series. I got the 2nd one “Marty-fied Tools” and I can say as a fan and someone looking to go further into his playing style, it’s an awesome instructional. Much like what I’ve said in the past about Yngwie’s way of doing instructionals, Marty actually shows his licks, not exercises, which if you’ve seen his Exotic Metal Guitar video or tried to learn any of his solos, some of it is familiar territory. But he does show some cool things I hadn’t really considered before.
Also, the video is designed to get your gears turning about how you can apply his approaches to your own ideas, which I’ve had a ton of fun with.
